TONI&GUY: Lexicon – The Contour (Colour)

The Colour by SIOBHAN GOLDEN: ‘The Contour’ colour creates a blurred movement, similar to patterns in nature that we see, and in particular the distorted movement that sand dunes create when they settle. Strong lines are ridged and then distorted which create a soft and dusty alternative. A herringbone technique is used to bring this ridged texture into the look whilst allowing for the hair to be moved and an alternative muted diffusion of colour to show through. Inspired by rock and roll icon Jimmy Hendrix style of vintage prints and psychedelic colour and retro and Paul Smiths familiar use of 60s colour and prints.
